The floating house:
This is a project within my studies at the university in the first year of a master’s degree, and it is a project that requires us to design a house in the water with the freedom to choose the place In the Republic of Tunisia, and with the identification of who lives in the house and why will he leave the traditional dwelling on land and go to live in the water, and therefore a logical reason must be presented.
I chose the location in Sousse exactly at “Halk el Menzel” for the existence of an offshore oil field, The main idea of the project is to create a floating house for the employees because of the absence of habitats inside of the oilfield and the difficult conditions and the long working time. And concerning the shape of the house, the choice of the circular the shape is made for its efficiency, stability, and resistance to winds and weather conditions at sea.
